Very intersting geometry of both plans,
The last You Tube animation shots are very Hard work and revealing especially:
1-The first shot of the movie, where the train gooooooooo within the store!!
2- The last shot of the the movie! (Interior).

1. Idea is very strong
• What about the tectonics?
2. 5th Avenue Store
• is an event in a plaza, glass cube at the center
• Don’t understand the connection of from to the pedestrian in your project compared to that at the 5th ave. store.
3. It is a little disturbing that you took over the entire sidewalk.
4. Model looks like a pear not an apple
• Form doesn’t have to allow function.
• You should have erased the building rather then proposed a structure
• A graphic image of an apple on the ground would have done it – it gives back the people.
• The best thing you could have done was not build at all – with a graphic you wouldn’t have the box you seem so concerned about avoiding.
• You would create a void where people can wander to figure out what is going on. – Vietnam war memorial is a void
5. You need to find the form of your ideas.
6. You should do the opposite of taking over
7. Don’t know if this is something in the model or if it was planned
• The gap works well with the idea.
8. The subgrade is brilliant, it catches people you wouldn’t normally at street level.

• Disappointed that the section isn’t curvilinear as well

• The elevator is so large
• Why not make the elevator the store is it is going to be that big?
• The people would view the products going up and then disappearing below grade.
15. You have invaded public space with private space
• It is a gross suggestion but possible if you push any of the suggestions further.

• Tectonically the execution is struggling
• We are architects and at the end of the day we need to make or imply space
• You need to focus
